About the Hitler meme
The Hitler Meme started in 2008 as a parody featuring part of the film Downfall. Hugely popular these videos have spread and now there are hundreds floating around on t' inter-tubes.
There are loads of hilariously funny videos but the problem is it's hard to find the funny ones with so much crap around so I made this website to help.
I have been working on this the last couple of days but it's still got work to be done, stand by for lots of improvements. In the mean time email me to suggest new videos / new features for the site or to report any problems.

About the site
This site is powered with Common Lisp (SBCL) running Hunchentoot through Pound. I use cl-who to generate the HTML, hunchentoot-vhost (with some custom macros) to handle 'virtual hosts', couchdb with cl-couch and some custom code to handle my data. The website was all coded from scratch by myself using Emacs with the exceptions of the rating widget and part of the CSS which was written by Mark. I used The Gimp to make / edit any of the artwork you see and it's all hosted on a lovely Bitfolk VPS running Debian. The server is protected with iptables and denyhosts and is backed up regulary using rsync.
It took me a few days of hacking to get it all working initally and the few weeks since I have been iterating improving things hopefully to a point now where people might like it.
